The Stohlquist Child FIT PFD is a high-mobility personal flotation device engineered for active young paddlers and boaters. Sculpted Foam Construction for Real Mobility
Most youth life jackets rely on boxy foam slabs that bunch under the arms and drag against seat backs. The FIT PFD takes a different approach. Front and back foam panels are sculpted and shaped to follow the body's natural contours, cutting bulk at the points where restriction is felt most. Rounded and sculpted foam corners resist wear at contact points and improve overall comfort during extended on-water time.
The back panel is intentionally thinned to minimize interference with high seat backs on kayaks, canoes, and PWC saddles. Kids who spend hours paddling or riding in a seat will notice the difference immediately.
Three-Buckle Front Entry
Three quick-release buckles run down the front of the vest, making it easy for kids to get in and out independently and simple for parents to verify a secure fit before launch.
