Does lip balm really need SPF?

Yes. Lips have thin skin and little natural melanin, so they burn easily and are a common spot for sun damage. An SPF 30 balm reapplied through the day keeps them protected during beach and water activities.

What is the difference between mineral and regular lip balm?
