About Boca Surf & Sail — A Boca Raton Institution Since 1985
Founded in 1985, Boca Surf & Sail has served Boca Raton's surf community for nearly four decades — longer than most local surf shops in South Florida. What started as a passion project for wave riders has grown into a full-service surf and beach lifestyle destination carrying hundreds of boards, thousands of products, and the knowledge to back it all up.
The shop is staffed by local surfers and skaters who ride the same breaks and streets you do. That means real advice, not just a sale. From recommending the right fin setup for Spanish River's beach break to helping a first-time skater pick a complete, our team has the expertise to guide any level of rider.
In 2024, Boca Surf & Sail joined the Island Water Sports family — bringing together two of South Florida's most storied surf brands under one roof. IWS has operated since the 1980s with flagship stores across Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, and Delray Beach.
