Women's Wetsuits
Women's wetsuits built for warm-water surfing, from springsuits to full coverage steamers and long sleeve jackets. We stock O'Neill, Rip Curl, Roxy, and Xcel in the thicknesses that make sense for Florida and travel: 1mm and 1.5mm jackets for breezy mornings, 2mm and 2/1mm springsuits for most of the year, and 3/2mm fullsuits like the O'Neill Epic, Roxy Syncro, and Rip Curl E-Bomb for cooler winter sessions. Both back zip and front zip entry are here, including the Rip Curl Dawn Patrol jackets. Island Water Sports has fit women into surf since 1978 across our four South Florida stores.
What wetsuit thickness do I need in Florida?
For most of the year a 2mm springsuit or a 1.5mm jacket is plenty in South Florida water. In the cooler winter months, or for travel to cooler breaks, a 3/2mm fullsuit like the O'Neill Epic or Roxy Syncro keeps you warm through a full session.
What is the difference between a springsuit and a fullsuit?
A springsuit has short or long sleeves with short legs for warmer water and quick paddles, while a fullsuit covers your arms and legs for colder conditions and longer sessions. We carry both, plus standalone jackets for layering.
