Built for Extreme Conditions
The Nixon Regulus was developed in collaboration with agents from the Special Operations corps of the United States. The result is a high-performance digital watch that strips away the unnecessary and delivers everything you need, exactly when you need it. A rugged 46mm case, a feature-packed custom LCD module, and 100 meter water resistance make the Regulus ready for whatever comes next.
Custom Digital Movement
At the core of the Regulus is a custom digital LCD module housed inside a protective polyurethane jacket and surrounded by Poron foam padding for serious shock absorption. The high-contrast LCD displays all functions clearly even in demanding environments. Mode navigation is handled by polycarbonate pushers positioned at 6 and 9 o'clock, and an adjustable LED backlight ensures readability in low light. Silent mode is built in for operations where discretion matters.

Case Construction
The 46mm case is custom injection molded from TR90, a lightweight thermoplastic polymer that handles impacts without adding bulk. A hardened mineral crystal protects the dial. The stainless steel bezel and solid stainless steel screw-on case back add rigidity at the points that matter most. Screw pin lugs lock the band securely in place. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters / 10 ATM.
Band
The band is a 29mm-to-24mm tapered, custom injection molded TPU 80 design with a water flow texture on the underside that channels moisture away and keeps the watch stable on the wrist. Nixon's patented locking looper keeps the tail of the band flat and in place. The stainless steel buckle closes with a stainless steel screw bar for long-term durability.
Nixon Quality and Warranty
Nixon covers the Regulus with a two-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased from Nixon.com or an authorized Nixon dealer such as Island Water Sports. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty and service requests.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Nixon Regulus watch?
- The Nixon Regulus is a 46mm high-performance digital watch developed in collaboration with Special Operations personnel. It features a rugged TR90 case, custom LCD module with Poron foam shock absorption, dual chronographs, countdown timer, three alarms, and 100 meter water resistance.
- Are Nixon watches good quality?
- Nixon watches are built with surf and action-sport use in mind, using materials such as TR90 thermoplastic cases, stainless steel hardware, hardened mineral crystal, and purpose-engineered TPU bands. The Regulus specifically was developed with input from Special Operations professionals and carries a two-year limited warranty.
- How water resistant is the Nixon Regulus?
- The Nixon Regulus is rated to 100 meters / 10 ATM. This makes it suitable for swimming and water sports. Note that pushing the buttons underwater or failing to screw down the case back can void the water resistance and the warranty.
- How do I replace the Nixon Regulus watch band?
- The Regulus uses screw pin lugs, which means band replacement requires a small screwdriver to remove and reinstall the lug pins. Replacement bands designed for the Regulus are available through authorized Nixon dealers.
- Does the Nixon Regulus have a chronograph?
- Yes. The Regulus includes dual independent chronographs with 1/100 second resolution that remain visible across all mode screens, along with a separate countdown timer.
- What does silent mode do on the Nixon Regulus?
- Silent mode disables audible alerts on the watch, including alarm and chronograph beeps. It is accessible directly via the dedicated SILENT control on the case and is designed for situations where sound is not appropriate.
- Where can I buy the Nixon Regulus watch?
- The Nixon Regulus is available at Island Water Sports in store and online. Island Water Sports is an authorized Nixon dealer, so purchases qualify for Nixon's two-year limited warranty.
