DuraCap Reinforcement for Daily Skate Abuse
The uppers are constructed with a mix of suede, 10 oz canvas, and 6 oz canvas, maintaining the aesthetic of the original Old Skool while bringing significantly more structural integrity. Repositioned DuraCap reinforced underlays protect the highest-wear zones, and higher sidewall heights add a more heritage look alongside genuine impact resistance. A new two-part foxing tape features a deeper knurl pattern on the toe bumper, reinforcing the area that takes the most punishment on any trick.
Locked-In Fit and Board Control
The fully redesigned upper introduces a molded heel counter that locks the foot in place and prevents lateral slippage during landings. Internal tongue straps keep the tongue centered and prevent it from shifting mid-session, a persistent problem with traditional skate shoe construction.
