Katin was founded in 1954 when Nancy and Walter Katin opened a small boat cover business, Kanvas by Katin, in Surfside, California, just north of Huntington Beach. Katin is recognized as one of California's first brands to make surf trunks, and the Katin flag label on this tee carries that same Southern California surf heritage into a graphic tee.
