The Katin story
Katin traces back to 1954, when Nancy and Walter Katin opened a small boat cover business in Surfside, California, just north of Huntington Beach. Raised along the California coast, the brand became known as one of the state's first makers of surf trunks, and it continues building newer fabrics, like the Repreve tri-blend used here, around that same durability standard.
