We offer surf, paddleboard (SUP), skimboard, and skate lessons for all ages and skill levels in Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton, available private or in a group, plus free surf lessons every Saturday morning. Lessons are led by experienced instructors, including ex-professional surfers.

What types of lessons does Island Water Sports offer?
We teach surf, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), skimboard, and skate lessons for all ages and skill levels, as private one-on-one sessions, group lessons, and clinics. See each program above for details.
How much do lessons cost?
It depends on the sport and the format. Surf lessons range from free Saturday mornings and $30 clinics to group rates of $35 to $65 per student and $99 private sessions. For paddleboard, skim, and skate lesson pricing, see the program pages above or call 954-427-4929.
Do you offer lessons for beginners and kids?
Yes. We teach all ages and skill levels across every sport, from complete first-timers to seasoned riders. We recommend students be at least five years old to start.
What should I bring, and do you provide the gear?
We provide the boards and equipment for your lesson. Bring a towel, sunscreen, a rash guard or an extra shirt, and, for water lessons, the ability to swim.
How do I book a lesson?
Book online through the program pages above or call us at 954-427-4929. Free Saturday surf lessons require online registration, which closes once spots fill.
