Getting the Fit Right and Wearing It

The thinner back panel means it will not dig into a high-backed PWC seat the way a standard back panel can, so it is worth checking that the vest still sits flush against a kayak or boat seat back before heading out.

Rinse, Dry, and Store It Right

Like any foam flotation vest, rinse it in fresh water after time in the salt or chlorine, let it air dry out of direct sun, and store it somewhere it will not get crushed, since compressed foam loses buoyancy over time. Check the buckles each season to make sure they still click and hold before the vest goes back on the water.
