Inside Foil Technology (IFT)
The side fins in this set feature a hydrodynamic foil on the inside face, a design FCS calls Inside Foil Technology (IFT). IFT increases water flow efficiency along the inside panel of the fin, generating more drive through the bottom turn and cleaner release off the top. The result is a fin that feels planted when you need it and free when you push it.
Lightweight Performance Construction
The PC (Performance Core) construction delivers a lightweight fin body with responsive tip flex. Flex in the tip absorbs chop and distributes energy through the turn smoothly, so the board accelerates out of maneuvers rather than stalling. The overall stiffness-to-weight ratio gives intermediate and advanced surfers the feedback they need to surf with intention.
Board Compatibility
The FCS PC-3 Tri Fin set is designed for the FCS II Fin System and fits all board types running a tri-fin or 2+1 setup. For surfers running an older FCS I (plug) system, the set is compatible when used with grub screws and the FCS Infill Kit (sold separately).
