The Double SS Curved Design
Carissa's signature "Double SS" aesthetic defines every element of this pad. The curved lines are not just visual: the low-profile kick uses a moderate slope that keeps the rear foot connection natural and responsive rather than forcing an artificially high back foot position. The arch bar follows a copperhead (teardrop) shape that locates the heel precisely and provides a consistent reference point for foot placement in critical moments.
The side pieces continue the Double SS curve, radiating outward and exiting toward the rail just before the kick.
