Repreve Hemp Blend Fabric
The Shorey Volley Short is crafted from a soft, durable four-way stretch blend: 37% recycled polyester, 35% polyester, 20% cotton, and 8% elastane. The recycled polyester is Repreve-based, meaning the material is spun from reclaimed fibers rather than virgin plastic. Cotton rounds out the hand feel, giving these trunks a broken-in softness that most synthetic shorts never reach. The four-way stretch moves in every direction, so whether you are paddling out or hiking a trail, the fabric keeps up.
PFC-Free Water Resistance
A C0 DWR (durable water repellent) finish is applied to the fabric using a chemistry that contains no per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS/PFC). Water beads and rolls off the surface without the environmental burden of legacy DWR treatments. The finish is lightweight and does not affect the soft hand of the fabric. Because the shell dries fast and repels surface moisture, these trunks transition from water to dry land with minimal downtime.
