Parking & Access

Parking runs through paid garages and metered street spots. It gets busy and pricey, especially on weekends, so plan ahead or arrive early to make the walk to the sand shorter.

Rules & Safety

Lifeguards are on duty, so check the flags before you get in the water. Rip currents and crowds are the main hazards, and A1A traffic near the park is heavy, so watch kids closely when crossing to the sand. Kiteboarders launch and land in a marked corridor at the south end, staying at least 100 yards out and off the guarded swim area, so swimmers should steer clear of that stretch. Dog-friendly areas are nearby if you're traveling with a pet.

The park has restrooms, outdoor showers, a playground, picnic tables and grills, volleyball and basketball courts, and a non-motorized boat ramp. There's no snorkeling here, so plan on swimming, sunbathing, and the courts and picnic areas instead.
