Parking & Access

The public access point is at Collins Ave and 96th St. Parking is metered and limited, and many visitors use the nearby Bal Harbour Shops garage instead. The 102nd St beach path is resident-only through an All Access Card; public entry is at the south end near 96th St and via the path near the Haulover Inlet at the north end.

Rules & Safety

This beach has no lifeguards on duty, so keep a closer watch on kids and weaker swimmers than you would at a guarded beach. Currents near the Haulover jetty at the north end run strong, and rip currents are a hazard along this stretch generally. Dogs are not allowed on the sand.

What's There

There are no public restrooms or showers on the beach itself. The 102nd St path has a shower, but that access stays resident-only. The nearest public restrooms and showers are at Haulover Park just to the north.
