Pro-Lite built the Smuggler Series around a simple idea for anyone booking a surf trip with airline board bag fees in mind: a false bottom lets the bag hold up to 3 standard shortboards while only showing 2 when it's opened for a pre-flight check.
Built to protect boards in transit
The bag is constructed from 600 Denier Poly with 10mm AIR-LITE foam for padding, plus molded #10 PK non-corrosive zippers so they hold up after repeated exposure to salt air. A reinforced nose and a rail guard along the zipper add protection at the two spots boards take the most damage in transit.

Thoughtful travel details
Beyond board protection, the Smuggler adds a large exterior wetsuit and accessory pocket, an inner storage pocket, a strap pocket for stowing gear, an external wax and key pocket, and a vent to keep air moving around your boards. An empty bag weighs 9-11 pounds depending on size, and boards should be loaded largest first, tail into the nose section, before the remaining two go in nose first.
