Setup, Bushings, and Break-In
Trucks are sold as a pair and mount with 7/8 inch hardware into the forged baseplate. The stock 90A orange bushings give a standard, all-purpose feel out of the box. Independent recommends stepping up to Bones Hardcore bushings if a rider wants to dial in the ride further: an 81A duro suits younger riders or advanced skaters after a looser, more responsive feel, 91A splits the difference for a medium to soft ride, and 96A is built for a stiffer setup or a heavier rider. As with any new truck, expect a short break-in period as the bushings and kingpin settle into the rider's preferred tightness.
