One pad, built to fit almost every board. The Firewire 2+1 Flat Traction Pad can be used as either a two piece or three piece pad, so you can adjust the width of coverage depending on the shape you are riding and how much pad you actually want on the deck.

This flat pad was shaped with wide tailed, grovel style boards in mind, and it holds up on similarly generous tail outlines from other shapers. The square tread is a favorite among surfers who have not traditionally gotten along with traction pads, since it offers grip without dulling the connection to the board.
Sustainable Materials
Firewire builds this pad using an algae based foam technology, a process that helps remove excess algae from waterways and recirculates fresh water back into the habitat while capturing and sequestering CO2. The material is more durable, absorbs shock better, and weighs less than conventional foams, and the packaging uses post consumer backing, soy based inks, and biodegradable wrapping.
