This cover is meant for a longboard rider who surfs often and wants a bag that is easy to carry without adding much extra weight, whether that is a short walk from the car to the water or loading and unloading a board multiple times a day around South Florida's beaches. The expandable fin wing is useful if you leave fins in the board between sessions rather than pulling them each time.
Using and caring for the cover
Fit the board in nose first, letting the contoured stretch fit and armadillo strip settle snugly around the rails, then zip fully closed checking the noncorrosive zippers move freely before carrying it by the vented shoulder pad. Rinse salt and sand off the cover after beach use and let it dry before storing the board inside for an extended period, so moisture does not sit against the foam padding or rail protection.
