The Firewire Endorfins Slater KS1 3 Fin Set is not a conventional fin. Innovative carbon inlays reinforce the structure while enabling a core that is comprised of 90% pure air. That combination delivers a fin that is noticeably lighter than fiberglass alternatives, generates dynamic flex without sacrificing drive, and actually floats on water. Fin Box Compatibility
Each fin in this set is built with a 2-Tab base that is compatible with both Two Tab fin boxes and Single Tab fin boxes, giving this set broad board compatibility across your quiver.
- The Futures-compatible base functions exactly like a factory Futures fin. Drop it in, tighten the screw, and surf.
- The FCSII-compatible base requires two screws, which are included. Note: Endorfins with FCSII-compatible bases do not use the click-in, click-out system. They are screwed in for a secure, rattle-free connection.
The KS1 Template
The KS1 is Kelly Slater's core template, tuned for speed, projection, and control through critical sections. The upright rake generates early hold off the bottom and keeps drive through the top of the turn.
