Melanin-Infused Lens Technology
The Stanton's lenses go beyond standard polarization. Melanin is infused directly into the lens material, mimicking the eye's natural pigment to block 98% of harmful high-energy visible (HEV) blue light and deliver 100% UV protection. The result is noticeably less eye fatigue during long sessions outdoors, with accurate color perception rather than the color shift common in cheaper tinted lenses.
Polarized filters are fused into the lens itself (not coated on the surface), cutting 99% of surface glare from water, pavement, and sand. The grey lens carries an 11% VLT (visible light transmission), Category 3 rating, making it best suited for the brightest light conditions. The base tint is a neutral grey, preserving true-to-life color without distortion.
On top of that, the lenses carry premium scratch resistance and impact protection, with a 4-base curvature for a broad, close-fitting field of view that blocks peripheral light intrusion.
