Dakine built the six-foot Kainui Plus to strike a balance between speed and durability, using the highest quality quarter inch (6.5 millimeter) urethane Dura-Cord with speed pockets and molded ends to minimize drag through the water.

Comfort and Security
The molded 1.5 inch (40MM) ankle cuff has a hydrophobic exterior for a snug, comfortable fit that stays distraction-free in the most critical sections of the wave, secured with a Posi-Lock hook and loop closure. A 1 inch (25MM) detachable railsaver and 100% marine grade stainless steel swivels round out the setup for reliable performance session after session.
Materials
The leash is built from a blend of 60% TPU, 15% polypropylene, 10% neoprene, 10% nylon, and 5% stainless steel.
