Parking & Access

Parking at Midtown Beach is metered along S Ocean Blvd, and it runs steep. There's no dedicated lot, so look for an open meter near the beach and be ready to feed it for as long as you plan to stay.

Rules & Safety

Lifeguards keep watch daily from stands at the Brazilian Avenue and Chilean Avenue ends of the beach; look for the posted flag before getting in the water, as rip currents are the primary hazard.

What's There

This beach has no restrooms, showers, or changing facilities, so come ready for the water and bring your own towel. There's no playground or picnic area either, just a clean stretch of sand for a swim or a walk. Snorkeling is possible here as well on clear days.

Before You Go

The IWS Delray Beach store sits 16.7 miles south, a reasonable drive if you want to grab beach gear, sun protection, or a paddleboard before heading up to Midtown. Since this stretch has no restrooms or showers, stocking up beforehand is worth the trip.
