A 600-foot stretch of the swim area is guarded, with staffing daily whenever the safety flag is up, not just on weekends. Watch your footing on the exposed rock formations and sharp limestone getting in and out of the water, and check the posted flag colors before you swim. Dogs are not allowed at Coral Cove Park.

You'll find restrooms, showers, grills and picnic areas on site, along with a playground built for ages 5 to 12 and a kayak launch on the intracoastal side of the park. The clear water over the limestone outcrops is rated good for snorkeling, and locals consider it some of the best shore snorkeling anywhere in the county, especially at high tide.
