What wetsuit thickness is right for Florida surf?
For most South Florida sessions a 2mm springsuit or a thin 1.5mm jacket is enough. For cooler winter mornings or travel to colder water, step up to a 3/2mm fullsuit like the O'Neill Hyperfreak, Vissla 7 Seas, or Rip Curl Dawn Patrol.
What are reef booties and water shoes for?
They protect your feet from sharp rock, reef, and hot sand. The Cudas Flatwater water shoes are great for everyday beach and boat days, while O'Neill and FCS reef booties add grip and protection for surfing over reef.
