Setting it up and keeping it riding well
As with any complete, check the truck tightness before your first session and adjust the kingpin to a feel that balances turning with stability. The 99a wheels are firmer and faster than a cruiser wheel but wear the grip tape and deck edges faster with heavy street use, so replace the grip tape once it loses traction rather than riding on a slick deck. Keep the deck away from standing water and rinse sand out of the bearings after any beach-adjacent riding.
