Crowd is low, which tracks, since almost nobody shows up expecting a session here. It is a stunning sunset spot far more often than it is a surf spot.

Best Conditions

It takes a hurricane or tropical system, or an SSW swell paired with the right offshore E wind, plus light E/NE offshore wind and a mid-low tide, to get this pier break working. Hurricane season is the only real window. Given how rarely it lines up, checking a forecast before the drive matters more here than almost anywhere else on this list.
