Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park

Who It's For

This is Boynton's main guarded beach, built for families with kids who want a boardwalk, a playground, and picnic tables all in one place. Crowds run moderate, and the dune boardwalk makes for an easy stroll before or after your swim.

Parking & Access

The park is at 6415 N Ocean Blvd in Ocean Ridge. Parking is paid: 3.50 dollars per hour, or a flat 5 dollars per vehicle from May 1 through November 15 and 10 dollars from November 16 through April 30. An annual permit runs 65 dollars if you visit often. The park itself is open 365 days a year, sunrise to 9pm.

Rules & Safety

EMT-certified lifeguards are on duty daily from 9am to 5pm, so check the flags before swimming. Rip currents are the main hazard, so keep an eye on kids in the water. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, with one exception: the Oceanfront Bark meetup on the third Saturday of the month, November through February, 9am to noon.
