Built Where Beach Meets Street
The Nixon Siren is an essential tide watch that earns its place on and off the water. It pairs a contemporary, activewear-inspired silhouette with surf-specific functionality and a genuine commitment to sustainability, so you get a watch that performs as well as it looks.
Sustainable Construction
The case is custom-molded from #Tide recycled plastic, a material Nixon produces using ocean-bound plastic waste. That means less plastic reaching coastlines and a super-durable case material that takes the abuse of daily water use without complaint. A stainless steel caseback and stainless steel gasket pushers back up the TR90 case with corrosion-resistant hardware.
Water-Ready Features
The Siren is rated to 100 meters / 10 ATM, making it a genuine waterproof watch suited to swimming, surfing, and everything in between. The soft silicone band stays comfortable through long water sessions, and the patented Locking Looper keeps the band secure so it stays put no matter what you throw at it.
Surf-Specific Digital Movement
Nixon built a custom digital module into the Siren with a feature set aimed squarely at time-on-the-water use:
- Basic tide and future tide functions display high/low tide so you can plan your sessions
- Home screen toggle lets you set the default display to time and date or time and tide
- Chronograph for split timing
- Customizable countdown timer for intervals and heat timing
- EL backlight for low-light readability
- 12-hour or 24-hour time display
- Date calendar through 2099
Design Philosophy
The Siren draws its design language from sustainable, high-end activewear, aiming for equal parts comfort, function, and style. It transitions naturally from a morning surf to an afternoon out, without the bulk or tech-heavy look of a traditional sport watch.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Nixon Siren a good waterproof watch for swimming?
- Yes. The Nixon Siren is rated to 100 meters (10 ATM), which makes it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. The silicone band and stainless steel hardware are built to handle regular water exposure.
- How do I change the time on the Nixon Siren watch?
- Use the gasket pushers on the side of the case to navigate the digital module. Hold the appropriate pusher to enter the time-set mode, then step through hours and minutes with the other pusher. The full step-by-step procedure is in the Nixon Siren manual, which Nixon provides on their support page.
- Where can I find the Nixon Siren watch manual?
- Nixon hosts digital manuals for all their watch modules on the Nixon website support section. Search for the Siren module number or product name to download the PDF with full function instructions.
- How do I replace the battery in the Nixon Siren?
- The Nixon Siren uses a standard button cell battery accessible through the stainless steel caseback. Nixon recommends having the battery replaced by a watchmaker or authorized retailer to maintain the water-resistant seal. The specific battery type is listed in the product manual.
- What makes the Nixon Siren sustainable?
- The case is molded from #Tide recycled plastic, a material made from ocean-bound plastic waste. Nixon developed the material to divert plastic from coastlines and waterways while producing a case that is tough enough for daily surf and water use.
- What tide functions does the Nixon Siren have?
- The Siren includes both basic tide (high/low tide for your current time) and future tide functions, powered by a custom digital module. The home screen can be set to display time and tide instead of time and date, keeping tide information front and center.
