Features Built Into the Pad

The Action Pad is a 5 piece pad with a diamond tread surface, a center arch, and 3M adhesive backing, measuring 2.65 inches wide by 13.5 inches high. Kelly cut a V shape into the tail kick so a leash is less likely to catch in the middle, and he slit the arch itself so the support is as wide as the arch on the 3 and 5 piece arch pads but sits lower to the deck. Square grooved edges run along either side of the parallel slits for a hooked in feel that other arch supports do not give. The side pieces can also be positioned closer together or further apart, so a rider can effectively choose a longer or shorter pad footprint from the same piece.

Installing and Caring for a Traction Pad
