Rob Machado's Signature Traction for the Go Fish and Seaside
The Firewire Surfboards Rob Machado Go Pad Traction is Rob Machado's Algae Traction pad, built for the Go Fish, the Seaside, and every other fast, wide fish board you ride. Rob designed this pad specifically to fit those two board shapes and give surfers reliable back foot grip.
Design and Fit
This is a 4 piece pad measuring 14 inches wide by 14 inches high, with a diamond tread pattern for grip and a 3M adhesive backing for a secure bond to the deck. Rob worked the layout so the pad fits the Go Fish and Seaside either as a four piece flat pad with a tail kick, or as a two piece flat pad without a tail kick, and the design avoids obstructing the leash plug on both boards regardless of size.

Rinse sand and salt off the pad after sessions to keep the diamond tread grip performing and the adhesive intact over time.
