Bronson Speed Co Pro G3 Bearings
The Bronson Speed Co Pro G3 Bearings are signature pro-model bearings built to be the fastest, strongest, and longest-lasting skateboard bearing Bronson has ever produced. Each pack contains 8 bearings engineered with next-generation technology designed specifically for the demands of today's skateboarding. Hard impacts, technical street skating, and full-speed charging are all accounted for.
Engineering Behind the Speed
Seven purpose-built technologies work together in every G3 Pro bearing to eliminate the weak points that slow other bearings down and cause them to fail.
Deep Groove Raceways
The balls roll deep inside the raceway channels rather than sitting high and exposed. This geometry reduces side-impact damage and breakage, the most common failure point in skateboard bearings, so the bearings stay round, fast, and true through hard landings and rail impacts.
Straight Edge Frictionless Shields
Pop-off resistant shields lock oil inside while keeping dirt and moisture out. The straight-edge design is also easy to clean: pop the shield, flush, re-oil, and ride. No deforming, no losing parts.
Micro Groove Raceway Surfaces
Linear micro-grooves machined into the raceway surfaces improve lubrication distribution, increase spin speed, and extend the life of the oil film. More oil where it matters means less friction and longer spin.
Max Impact Cage Design
A custom non-distortion cage keeps the balls precision-spaced and maintains oil circulation under the repeated shock loads of skating. A distorted cage creates uneven ball spacing that kills spin. This cage holds its geometry.
Balls Out Technology
Bronson's Balls Out Technology eliminates shield and cage contact on impact. When a bearing takes a hit, the components that normally drag against each other under load are engineered out of contact. The result is a bearing that stays fast after hard use, not just out of the box.
High-Speed Ceramic Oil
Nano-ceramic compounds in the lubricant provide a wear-protection barrier that resists moisture, rust, and corrosion. Ceramic oil maintains its viscosity and protective film longer than conventional skateboard lubricants, keeping spin consistent through more sessions.
Factory Fresh Quality
Every set ships in nitrogen-filled shrink wrap. Nitrogen displaces oxygen at the packaging stage, preventing metal and oil oxidation before the bearings ever touch a wheel. You open a bearing that is chemically as fresh as the day it was assembled.
Pro Model Editions
The G3 Pro line includes signature editions for Bronson's pro team riders. Each edition carries the same G3 Pro internals and technology. The pro association reflects the rider who helped develop and run the bearing through real-world testing, not a variation in performance spec.
What Is Included
Each pack contains 8 Bronson Speed Co Pro G3 Bearings, enough to set up one complete skateboard (two wheels per truck, two bearings per wheel).

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are Bronson G3 Pro bearings good?
- Yes. The G3 Pro is Bronson Speed Co.'s flagship pro-model bearing, built with Deep Groove Raceways, Balls Out Technology, Max Impact Cage Design, and High-Speed Ceramic Oil. These technologies work together to maximize spin speed, resist impact damage, and extend bearing life well beyond a standard skateboard bearing.
- How many bearings come in a pack?
- Each pack contains 8 bearings, the correct quantity to set up one complete skateboard (two bearings per wheel, four wheels total).
- What is Balls Out Technology?
- Balls Out Technology is Bronson's design that eliminates contact between the shields, cage, and balls on impact. When a bearing absorbs a hard hit, standard designs can create drag as components press together. Bronson engineers the clearances so this contact does not occur, keeping the bearing fast after hard use, not just when new.
- Bronson Speed Co bearings vs Bones Reds: which is faster?
- Bronson G3 Pro bearings are engineered with ceramic oil, micro-groove raceways, and Balls Out Technology specifically for modern impact-heavy skateboarding. Bones Reds are a longtime benchmark budget bearing. The G3 Pro targets a higher performance tier with more impact-resistant construction and advanced lubrication. For skaters who push hard and want bearings that stay fast after real use, the G3 Pro is the stronger choice.
- How do I clean Bronson G3 Pro bearings?
- Pop the Straight Edge Frictionless Shields off (they are designed to be pop-off resistant but removable for cleaning), flush the bearings with a bearing solvent, let them dry completely, re-apply bearing oil, replace the shields, and reinstall. Bronson's shield design makes this process straightforward compared to pressed or fully sealed designs.
- What does the nitrogen-filled packaging do?
- Bronson packs the G3 Pro bearings in nitrogen-filled shrink wrap before they ship. Nitrogen displaces oxygen, which prevents metal oxidation and oil degradation during storage and shipping. The bearings are chemically fresh when you open them, with no rust and no degraded lubricant before the first session.
- Do Bronson G3 Pro Bearings fit standard skateboard wheels and trucks?
- Yes. Bronson Speed Co. bearings are built to the standard 608 skateboard bearing specification and fit all standard skateboard wheels and trucks.
