Globe G1 Lineform: A Street and Park Complete Built to Last

The Globe G1 Lineform Complete is Globe's standard entry point into their resin-7 lineup, and it punches well above its price. Built for street skating and park sessions, every component is chosen for performance and durability so you can focus on skating rather than upgrading hardware.

Resin-7 Hard Rock Maple Deck

The deck is pressed from resin-7 hard rock maple, Globe's standard construction process that uses a resin-based bonding agent in place of traditional water-based glue. The result is a stiffer, more responsive deck that holds its pop longer than conventional pressings. Full concave is shaped into the deck for consistent foot lock-in whether you are skating ledges, stairs, or transition.

Tensor Alloy Trucks

Globe spec'd 5.0" Tensor alloy trucks for the G1 Lineform. Tensor trucks are built around Grade-8 kingpins, a hardware spec borrowed from industrial fasteners that significantly reduces the chance of a kingpin snapping under impact. High-rebound urethane bushings come installed from the factory for responsive turning without excessive slop. Globe backs these trucks with a lifetime guarantee.

High-Rebound 53mm 99a Wheels

Globe's own 53mm wheels at a 99a durometer rating roll fast on smooth concrete and maintain speed through flat ground. The 99a hardness is the street skater's sweet spot: firm enough to hold speed on park surfaces and skatepark concrete, with enough grip to stay predictable during slides and grinds.

Graphic and Construction

The G1 Lineform's deck graphic takes a design-forward approach: a geometric concentric ring composition printed on a dark base, giving the board a clean, minimal look that reads well with raw grip tape applied. The Globe wordmark appears on the tail. Construction is individual to each pressing, designed in Melbourne, Australia.

About Globe Skateboards

Globe traces its roots to Melbourne, Australia, where the Hill brothers, Stephen, Peter, and Matt, began distributing third-party boardsports brands in the mid-1980s through their company Hardcore Enterprises. By the mid-1990s they had launched Globe footwear for skaters and surfers, and expanded into apparel and hardgoods for the broader action sports market. Globe complete skateboards represent decades of that hands-on industry knowledge built into every spec decision.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Globe skateboards good quality?
Yes. Globe has manufactured and distributed boardsports products since the mid-1980s and developed their own resin-7 hard rock maple pressing process for stiffer, longer-lasting decks. The G1 Lineform Complete ships with Tensor alloy trucks carrying a lifetime kingpin guarantee and Globe's own high-rebound wheels, making it a solid complete at its price point.
What is a resin-7 skateboard deck?
Resin-7 refers to Globe's deck pressing method, which uses a resin-based epoxy adhesive between the maple veneers instead of traditional water-based glue. The resin bond produces a stiffer deck that retains pop longer and is less susceptible to delamination from moisture.
What makes Tensor trucks different from standard trucks?
Tensor alloy trucks are built with Grade-8 kingpins, a hardened-steel fastener spec that resists snapping under heavy impact. Combined with high-rebound urethane bushings, Tensor trucks offer responsive turning and Globe backs them with a lifetime guarantee on the G1 Lineform.
Is the Globe G1 Lineform good for beginners or experienced skaters?
The G1 Lineform Complete is Globe's standard resin-7 complete, designed to work for beginners who want a real street and park setup right out of the box, as well as progressing skaters who want a reliable complete without sourcing individual parts. The full concave, quality trucks, and 99a wheels mean there is nothing to immediately upgrade.
Can I skate the Globe G1 Lineform at a skatepark?
Yes. The G1 Lineform is built for both street and park use. The full concave deck, 99a hardness wheels, and Tensor trucks handle transition and park concrete surfaces well.

The Globe G1 Lineform Complete is available in store and online at Island Water Sports in South Florida. You can also order online and reach the team at 954-427-4929 for any questions.
