O'Neill Wetsuits
O'Neill wetsuits and water gear for South Florida surf, dives, and early sessions. Island Water Sports has fit wetsuits for local water since 1978, so we carry the O'Neill range that makes sense for warm-water and shoulder-season conditions. Shop Hyperfreak chest-zip fullsuits and springsuits, Epic 3/2mm women's fullsuits, Reactor-2 back-zip suits for toddlers and women, Bahia front-zip springsuits and jackets, and Thinskins and Neo-Skins lycra and jackets, plus Basic Skins UPF 50 sun shirts, rash tees, and Reactor reef booties.
What wetsuit thickness do I need in Florida?
For most South Florida surfing, a springsuit or a 2mm to 3/2mm suit covers the cooler months, and a sun shirt or thin lycra handles warm-water days. We carry 0.5mm Thinskins up through 3/2mm fullsuits so you can match the season.
What is the difference between chest zip and back zip?
Chest-zip suits like the Hyperfreak seal tighter and flush less water, while back-zip suits like the Reactor-2 are easier to get on and off. Both are in this collection.
Do you carry O'Neill wetsuits for kids?
Yes. We stock Reactor-2 toddler and boys springsuits and fullsuits along with youth rash tees and sun shirts.
