Smith Hookset Polarized Sunglasses
Built to See Below the Surface
Whether you are fighting a catch in open water or standing waist deep in a stream, the Smith Hookset sunglasses are made to help you see below the surface. Glare is every angler's adversary, so Smith built this frame around lens options with glare-cutting polarization that enhances contrast and depth perception.
Lens and Frame Technology
The Hookset offers ChromaPop polarized lenses that cut glare and enhance color and contrast, along with ChromaPop Glass polarized lenses for the same clarity with added scratch resistance, and ChromaPop Polarchromic lenses that combine polarization with tint-adjusting photochromic technology for changing light. A smudge and moisture resistant coating keeps optics clear, and an 8-base lens curvature gives the frame a wraparound fit with medium to large coverage. Minimal bottom rims keep moisture from pooling against the lens.
Fit and Comfort
Megol temple and nose pads provide non-slip grip so the glasses stay in place, and spring hinges self-adjust to your face for a snug, comfortable fit. The frame is built from Evolve, Smith's bio-based material, keeping the pair lightweight and durable through long days on the water.
Who These Sunglasses Are For
The Hookset is built for anglers and anyone spending time on open water or standing in a stream, where cutting glare off the surface matters as much as comfort over a full day. The included PivLock leash retainer keeps the frames attached to you while you fish or ride, so they do not end up on the bottom.
Care and What's Included
The pair ships with a PivLock leash retainer, a hard case, and a microfiber bag. Use the microfiber bag to wipe down the smudge and moisture resistant coating, and store the glasses in the hard case between trips to protect the ChromaPop lenses and Evolve frame.
