The Mirage MF Ultimate is Rip Curl's flagship performance boardshort, built in collaboration with 3x World Surf League Champion Mick Fanning. Fabric and Construction
The shell is 86% Polyester and 14% Elastane sourced from Recycled PET, giving the short four-way mechanical stretch with a conscience. The hydrophobic quick-dry finish sheds water fast so the fabric stays light from the paddle out through the whole session. Welded critical seams eliminate the bulk and chafe that stitched seams create in high-flex zones, and hem vent detailing at the leg opening allows a full range of motion without restriction.

The Surf Grip waistband locks the short in place against the skin during duck dives, wipeouts, and powerful re-entries without relying on a tight fit that cuts off circulation.
